Awesome cycles is really far I just realized that from where I live...
Is there anything closer to where I live but good too

Well, you could try going to the DPS website under Training locations

or

you could goto MSF schools in Houston under New Riders and MSF Course Information on this forum

or

you could go to post #18 in this thread

to find a school near you.

I took it there. That was back in 2006 or so, before I found out about this forum.

It was alright. I thought the instructor was solid and a pretty likeable guy.

I went to Awesome cycles last year to get my texas M endorsement and we didn't get any drinks or treats like that. I guess it all depends on the instructor. Our instructors were Charlie and some chick ( ) from Alaska that moved to Conroe. I hope they bring treats when I take the advanced rider's course.

The drinks, snacks, etc. are for sale in the classroom and have been there since the day we opened over 6 years ago for every single class.

My buddy and I both are Awesome graduates (class of August 22/23 2009).

I had never riden a bike before I sat on that Honda at the class and here I am 1 year and 5000 miles later and still loving it. Can't say enough about the class or the instructors.
