I have met maybe 3 duc owners from this forum. Nothing but positive about them though.

Ex-duc owner chiming in!

I suffered from reverse-snobism(if there is such a thing) when I had mine.

It's almost as if some people expect us to be snobs because we're on a duc and in tern treat us different..
I give no , however. I don't ride to make friends. I ride because I like to ride.
Making friends along the way is just a bonus.
Besides, friends worth having don't care what you ride.

How did the BMW owners escape the snobbish douche moniker in this thread?

Well said. I don't care if people want to judge me because of what bike I ride I didn't buy a Ducati to ride with 20 other motorcycles anyway so assume what you would like. I love my bike and I've owned 3 Yamahas before my Duc. My personality hasn't changed with any of them

At a Coffee and Cars meet we parked next to some Ducs and they were all douches, one of them moved their bike to a different spot because of it, actually went and parked it next to the S1000rr

In all fairness, there are jerks every where. Some ride Harley's, bikes etc.

Whatever, I feel sorry for these people. They must lead a pretty sad existence if they considered themselves blessed by the things they own rather than the being happy or grateful for their health, family and friends.
true that

I just think it is messed up that the cruser riders think they are too cool to wave at the sport bike riders. I wave at all motorcycle riders, however the cruzer riders almost never wave back.

LOL I get the feeling it's because generally sport bike riders don't count cruisers in on their 'group'

Can't deny that, even though I don't ride in groups I definitely get this feeling about it.

I get, I just wish that the group meant all people who enjoy riding. I could easily write some sort of I have a dream speech here, but I will refrain.
