dude, I'm 5'5 and at 168 lbs but I've at the gym for about a month, probably 2 times a week, need to get better at getting there the 3rd day. I'm the treadmill each day, and then alternate shoulders/chest/tri's, back/bi's, and legs. Wanna lose most of the gut before workin on the abs. I may start lookin in to takin some supps, maybe fat burners and/or protein supps.

all the fat burners/protein/helath food stuff wont do untill you get you're nutrition right. if youre still eating a ton of food a day....you wont do anythign but waste your time.

fyi....all the situps in the world wont matter if youre not down to at least 15% body fat....technically youll have ripped abs..and youll be able to feel them, but you wont be able to see them.

All of that is excellent advice, but the only way it will work is through proper motivation.

Motivation is what drags you to the gym when you would rather sit on your , motivation is what makes you squeeze out that last rep when you could just as easily rack the weight.

Motivation is what makes you drink those nasty ****ing protein drinks instead of eating a big mac, Motivation is what puts water in your cup instead of a beer.

Without motivation you will ultimatly fail because you have no reason to succeed, what your motivation is, is very personal and might make sense only to yourself. Whatever it is though, you have to lock onto that thought and keep it so burned into your conciousness that you see it when you close your eyes, and you feel it slipping away when you slack.

you know, I actually found the secret to good protein shakes.. and thats to thoroughly mix the , I've got this blender (that isn't actually a blender... it's complicated) but since I started using that.. my protein shakes taste like a real milk shake, it's so smooth.

It's just when I used to whip them up with a spoon and they'd be all chunky that it made me wanna gag
