where does it say on any law section that if some1 runs from cops needs to get a beating if he gets caught?

I'm not saying their actions are a 100% driven by racism nor am I saying there's no racism involved. (you catch my drift?)
explain to me why would you think that's not racist?

not saying it was... not saying it wasn't. proven fact that cops have a real hard time controlling themselves after a chase because of the adrenaline.

I would get on THEIR radio and call for backup and wait there until they came and let them arrest me and allow me to tell the judge how I feel. I wouldn't duck my punishment either, I only care about a badge as much as the officer wearing it does.

Yep. I agree.

Why does everyone get so upset about someone getting their kicked? I've had my kicked. I've kicked . End result, I learned something from all events. It's good for you either way, really.

Bunch of pussays these days. kids.

Staton (suddenly feeling every bit of 40)

edit for the slow kids. Sarcasm intended, with a bit of truth.

Why did you get your kicked though? Don't pretend it was uncalled for. What this did on the bike, sure he deserved to get bumped off when he finally stopped, but not what happened afterwards.

I've been in my share of scuffles, only had my kicked under controlled atmospheres, but in this case those cops were just wrong and that's the bottom line.

I got my kicked when I did, cause I needed it. Same as everyone else on occassion.

Did you not see how this non riding dumb rode that bike? By a bus at one point, near a car in another, wide in the turns, then off the road. It wasn't mad skilz that allowed him to not hit and injur people or damage those cars, etc.

I promise you the few hits he took were nothing compared to how he would have been hurt crashing as he was dressed into someone or sliding across the pavement. (gear FTW plug)

I only say that now, because I just watched the entire video. He was walking, smiling, and grinning. Seems like a polite enough guy, he just made a dumb choice. A slight beating is probably good for him. All he had to do was STOP when they shined then light on him or any of the multiple times he blew the turn and tried to figure out how to shift gears.

Wouldn't it be great if the rookie cops came out and said ", we got a little amped up, our bad, we're really sorry about getting carried away a bit." And the guy said, "No worries, it was stupid of me to run, I could have killed someone or got hurt really badly." Then they go get a beer, shake hands, and carry on wiser for it with no ruined careers, or large tax payer expense paid in the end to some lawyer and no over the top racial spin, as it was a dumbass move on all of them.

Laugh about that for a while, then really consider it. Life would be easier and less dramatic without lawyers, sensationalist local news people, and politicians.

Just sayin...

This DOES make sense. I think you're on to something!

We discussed this in my CJ class. The cops were told by their supervisor not to chase; they disobeyed. Then they caught the guy and beat him up. They deserved to be fired for what they did. They were 100% in the wrong in this case.

My prof said he thinks it's because they were new to the force (< 3 years) and they couldn't control themselves. They were wrong.
