Anyone that rides a gsxr cannot deny that a majority of idiots flock to either that bike or an R1/R6.

When a bike is popular, it cannot be helped.

Same with 03-04 cobras.

Did anyone notice that the article stated "Traveling in a Chevy Malibu in the middle lane not far behind the minivan..."
So would that mean the rider swerved from the far lane into the middle and straightened out before impact. At that speed something sounds fishy.

I hope the rider recovers and gets the chance to learn from this lesson.

Side note: I need a faster bike (sarcasm, mostly). I would have just bounce off of the bumper at my max cruising speed.

Look at the photo, bottom/center... doesn't look like it hit completely straight on. Nothing's fishy, rider was going too fast for the traffic around im.

cagers!

If they hadn't been on the same stretch of road he was on this never would
have happened!

Some people should be allowed to buy mini vans!

(problem is he effed the bike up too bad to be used for trackday/race bike parts....)

And as a side note, he must be tuff to still be alive after being that stupid...

Note to self: Never buy that particular minivan, does not hold up well to rear-impacts.

Lane splitting is one thing, but van splitting is not recommended.

look at the pics of the bike again in pause, it was a busa.. I hand polished my frame so I know what it looks like.. but yeah he was pretty young(22) to be riding a real rocket, he didnt even know what hit em probably, i get tunnel vision when i am doing past 170 on mine, dude never had a chance to move if he was going around that speed..
