I guess I should have also said that I'm hoping that after folks watch this, that they may be *inspired to wear one.

Anyone that thinks their head isn't worth protecting with a helmet is probably right.

I do not know man. The material of a helmet would make you slide on pavement much faster. You would slow down allot better without a helmet. THere are some good points of not wearing one.

see?
also i spent good money on imported korean ICE hair gel. can't be lettin that go to waste.. besides.. if I put enough hair glue to keep my douche spikes up, it hardens just like plastic on a helmet. I also have a camera mounted on my bike.. so if a car hits/sideswipes me, i have them on camera.. yea bishez..

sarcasm on.

my full face helmet has been pelted by a bunch of rocks kicked up by other vehicles. glad to see the gouges in the faceshield are there instead of in my face or eyes

OUCH! Anyone that doesn't wear one has obviously never hit their head before. I went headfirst into a rock one time when I was sledding back home and it fractured my skull. I was going 10 mph and woke up in the hospital with blood coming out of my ears and a headache that lasted for months. Hitting your head on something while going 30 mph will crack it like an egg.

On the first video... is the back of the head completely missing or is it just because the person was laying down when was taken? It kinda looks like the head was scrapped across the ground and the back sheered off. Now that I go back and look at all of them.. they are all the same so never mind. lol

I have been astounded watching riders all over Houston not wearing safety gear. A Bell Star saved my life while snowmobile racing in 1971. Being a Libertarian type though, I believe in personal freedom and choice.
