He hadn't put the keys in yet, he had just sat down on the bike and was about to put on his helmet

Just playing devil's advocate here. A person with a knife willing to cut/stab you will be charge at you in about 2 seconds at a distance of 21 feet. Now when you get hold up by guys with knifes, it's more like reaching distance. What makes you think you can draw and effectively shoot the robbers before they cut you up in pieces?

Ohhhh.

I can't say what I would've done. Somebody would've got a helmet to the jaw that's for sure.

Sounds like you took care of them though. Do you remember where they were "chillin'?"

lol, then you're risking murder charges if not civil tort charges because the threat is no longer there. These what if games will save you from lawyer fees and possibly jail time.

Having a CHL is a big responsibility.

Hey all ego's aside - They know where you and your bike will be too. In fact they might've been watching it for awhile.

I am a strong advocate of doing anything you have to do or as a Mr. Malcolm X would say "By any means necessary" when it comes to life and limb...so yes, if your life is threatened in any way, shape or form...do what it is you have to do to make it home safely to your family...I'm just pointing out that I would have a lil more trouble doing that...unless given your same circumstance
