1 peice suit fitment

I tried on some frank thomas 1 peice suits today. Im 6'2 at 170lbs The biggest they had is a 48 now it felt really good everywhere except the crotch, raising my arms caused rackage. Will leathers break in? The suit felt great everywhere except not sure how its gonna feel in riding position. Do most suits do this or is this to small for me?

they will break in but in my experience finding the right suit, i suggest finding one that will not ride up in the crotch area. i had a 44 the fit perfect but it was too tight around my thighs and crotch that didnt allow me to move around the tank and hang off.

maybe a 50US and try doing squats to see how it fits around the nads.

A lot of suits will be tighter in standing position as well. You need to get on a bike and test it out and lean side to side.

If you want to find a suit, got to Patricks shop or drive up to Dallas to Motoliberty. They have the biggest selection of suits in the lower US. Or you can do what I did and have a custom 1 off suit made to your measurments.

You need room for your back protector as well.

Not to jack the thread but i wheigh 200lbs and stand about 5ft 9inches and i purchased a 1 peice frank thomas suit from cycle gear size 48, And yes i heard they were cheesy but on july 1st a bunch of us from San antonio went for a fast paced ride up to leakey TX. And the speed limit up thru there is like 35mph at the fastest point and we roll thru there about 100-110 and i wrecked really bad bike did cartwheels and so did I. Got airlifted to the hospital, and my leathers survived the whole wreck. I was really surprised and beleive me they were trashed and all the seams held really good, not a ripped seam on the whole suit. The only thing that sucked was the ER doctors cut them off me. But to be honest they really held up good i was really impressed and ive got 2 trackdays on them and there really comfortable except for the rackage, and i just ordered another set. Maybe being a little shorter than you it doesnt seem so bad, but they allow me to move from side to side really good on the bike.

I've got a Frank Thomas and I crashed in it, nothing happened other than the regular scratches on it
