Arrow Where can you practice figure-8, etc.?

Anybody know of a good place where one could practice figure 8s, etc.

...without other cars, gravel, or cops?

I've been looking for a parking lot or something on the southeast side, but I've not found anything. I'd love to have somewhere to go for a couple of hours (or even 1/2 hour from time to time between track days and just practice BP, braking, and weight shifting.

Anybody know any place?

Not on the SE. I used one up here on the N side for a while. Drive around. Find an abandoned store or shopping center.

At Fairmont and Underwood in LP there is a new warehouse strip. No security or other activity at night.

are you guys serious? Houston is one big concrete pad....you're talking about practicing figure 8's with two wheels on the ground (not stunting), right? I find it it difficult to believe some cop would run you out of some place for merely practicing. during heavy traffic and business hours, probably not a good idea though.

When I took the safety course at Mancuso Harley Davidson the instructor told me I could practice on their course any time. They even brushed the asphalt for better grip. He said just tell the people inside first. It's the one on 290

Either the Sams Club Parking Lot or Mall Of The Mainland Parking Lot after hours (12am) in TX City Afterwards, you will need to replenish your energy so The Deelish can be found at IHOP or Taco Cabana on 646 SE > * Any other quadrant of town and you risk the escalated possibility of crime!

I'm old and don't want to get jacked.

I'll check out Renos. That $1 movie lot has people cutting through at speed (even with speedbumps) - can't remember if it has enough open space. Every school lot I look at seems to either have security patrols and/or lots of gravel.
