Rain Pockets

Question, cuz I think too much(usually about things that carry no weight)

Even leather jackets will leak water during heavy rains. Many of us bring ziplock bags....

Why dont manufactorers make one (1) water resistant pocket like the left breast inner pocket? One pocket for phone... ?

If any of you wanna jump on a patent sleeve that has a sticky liner made of neoprene to fit most sizes, I'll take royalites in a couple models when they are produced; otherwise you can run w the concept lol.

I guess they dont want to advertise a pocket being "waterproof" then it backfire later on because over time it will wear and get a hole etc...

Just an idea..

why not use the same material as a tent. It's almost identical to the material used for the breast pocket, but it's waterproof. On my tents I use a spray to keep it water proof

Some of the Joe Rocket jackets have a waterproof, inside left breast pocket. I think both of my Joe Rocket jackets have it.
