I want to know who the other two people are that listen to classic rock. I listen to that and like Scootertrash, I also listen to contemporary christian rock.

I like a little bit of almost everything.

Country is just R&B played straight. Sort of like a "soul less" R&B.

Yep. Lionel Richie was one of the best Country writers ever - he just didn't know it.

More into Funk myself. Isley's, The Meters, George Clinton, etc....

I like all music if its good! I have been listening to 97.1 classic country lately. Always puts you in a good mood! I played in a metal band in my younger days. But listening to 97.1 frees your mind, great storys.

i disagree. i have yet to hear a country song that provokes any emotion in me other than disgust and disdain for the entire backwoods race.

Wow! You really need to end all that anger, I have found peace in my life throught my wonderful family. I used to feel the same way you do, 20 through 30 years old. All I listend to was rap and metal. I am happer than I have ever been thanks to great classic country. Do your self a favor, Don't listen to the guitar parts like I use to, pay close attention to the words and their life experiences.

Jesse
