These are popping up every where. Sooner or later it may become standard/required equipment. I think it's a great idea, but I'd like some info from real time not controlled environment uses. (they aren't cheap, so don't want to spend a lot of money to find out it don't work because the gen I sucked...)

Nah, I want one for my and legs. Everytime I go down thats the part that seems to meet the pavement first. LOL. On one occasion I went down a wet ditch that this might have worked on. The cans and bottles would not have hurt so much if I had something protecting my shoulders while sliding down that ditch. Just as I was about to slow down my bike caught up with me and dislocated my shoulder. This might have stopped that. Or better yet, my should have slowed down when I went into the corner. Gravel has dumped me more times that I can cound.
