Biker down in front of Cycle Gear Almeda 9-20 1 am

Cops had the exit to Almeda Genoa heading south on I-45 closed. As I drove by I saw a full dressed cruiser in the left lane crashed, couldn't see a body or anything. Hope the guy is alright and doesn't end up dead like the last cruiser rider I saw down on 45 2 weeks ago.

Fully dressed cruiser. I think that means with saddle bags and normal dressed cruiser addons.

lots of em

the comments speak of texas not having a helmet law, I thought they did, it was just another non enforced law.
To go w/o a helmet, one is supposed to show "x" amount of insurance and send in $5. or something for a sticker that goes on the license plate. All others are supposed to be pimpin' a DOT helmet.
again, I could be wrong.

I think that law was made before it was required to go to brc and stated either you had to have x amount of insurance OR you had to complete the brc. Well now days everyone has to complete the brc to get a license. So no way to enforce that law unless they can prove they had the endorsement before that law came in to effect and they never took the course. No way to prove that.

Oh, I forgot, as far as the helmet stuff. Preach it when you see people w/o the helmet. Not when they are dead.. Let them RIP.. Don't NTP (nag to peace). I can imagine waiting to go to heaven or and all you hear friends and family say.... "Should have worn a helmet".. I'd be like "Well geeze.. all my life, the good I've done and the bad and all people can say is I should have warn a helmet". The comment is just a bit late by then. Well unless you're one of those that'll be late to your own wedding and funeral. haha. The with what SHOULD OF COULD OF... and just pray for the families.
