Gotta ride something!

Ok new guy here that needs a bit of expert advice.

Beginner to intermediate skill level. 6'1" 215lbs. I favor a more upright seating position. Short commute to work and tooling around town.

Bikes on my radar:

650R or ER6N
FZ6R
GSX650F

Bikes I think I could grow into if I eat my spinach:

FZ6
CBR600rr

Your input would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Hebert

All good choices.
Try them all on and then shop around.
A lot of good deals out there right now.

You should add SV 650 and 1000 to your list

Oh and one more thing, if you plan on going 120+mph i would recommend something else like the CBR600rr. I use the FZ6R to commute to school (UHD) and the SV650 on the weekends.

As mentioned your choices are spot on. SV1k is a bit much for a newer rider IMO.

You should be able to pick up an example of the bikes youlisted for 2000-3500 in good shape.

GL and welcome.
