Unhappy Donations needed for a Fallen Rider and a Fallen Officer.

photophp?pid4857610&ampfbid449396149296&ampid647714296

Hello all... I am writing you all since my friend Officer G. Roberts is in desperate need of donations since he has suffered severe injuries when he wrecked his motorcycle on the Westpark Tollway this past Tuesday. Officer Roberts, who has been in a coma for approx. has sustained injuries to his head, hands and knees. These injuries will keep him away from work for 8 months to 1 year, with hundreds of hours of rehab needed. I know it has been a while since I have written, but I believe this is a GREAT Cause and a great way to help out a fellow rider. Thanks again... PoPo

Donations can be made at: Texas Citizens Bank - 281 238-8700
Address: 24710 SW Freeway Suite 700, Rosenberg, Texas 77469

For additional info contact: Ariel Soltura 832 876-1004 or the Rosenberg Police Department @ 832 595-3700

Just got a call from our friend Kevin about this. Sad story. Donation made.

Let us know as soon as the benefit is planned and we'll get it up in the classroom and try to get some folks out there.

Prayers for a speedy recovery.

To the best of my knowledge, they only help officers hurt/killed in the line of duty. Don't quote me though.

It is unclear how he wrecked since it was a 1 man accident and he, as if now, does not recall... He thinks he hit something in the roadway but then says that it might have been a blown out tire... Honestly, I think he just doesn't know yet due to the drugs he was being given... Gary is an experienced rider (Harley VRod) but did not have added gear since he had was coming home from watching the Astros play... His road rash, as you can imagine is pretty severe... His knees are down to the bone along with several knuckles. His back is also shaved off in a sense. Face also has some but most of it was stitched up... Back of the head has some too but it's nothing horrible, as is the rest of him. From what I have heard, he slid approx. 300 ft +/- (but that might be a stretch). Regardless, he is extremely BLESSED to be alive, as we have all seen accidents with less damage cause a fatality. I know most of you all don't know him but he is a great guy who not only rode but placed his life on the line for people on a daily basis... (and believe me, he is one of he good ones). If any of you all can come up with a way to raise a little for him, I will get with CHALLEN and Kevin and I am sure we can make this happen...

Thanks... PopoRiderRR (832) 876-1004
