I'm not sure if it's legal but in Hawaii some riders did it all the time back in 2005.

I run the 405 pretty regularly when I am out in Santa Anna, HB, and LA, and see lane splitting regularly. People in CA seem to look out for the motorcyclists.

I also see it regularly by a couple of motorcyclists on Rayford Road as you approach I-45. These people are going to get themselves hurt badly because Texans have no regard for motorcycles.

They are better at looking out for bikes in CA, but this guy plays way too many video games. His first life is going to be short.

It looked like it was an Under Armor key fob but then again, it could be a Kawasaki key fob. Maybe he wishes he had a Kawasaki

no kidding, I digs it, but then again, I like boost and then I'd be mad because it sounded so cool but was lacking the boostage factor. Seriously though, it does sound way nice, sounds smooth

I just went to San Fran/Oakland area and all the motorcyclists that we saw split lanes(and there were a lot). from the brief time we spent in the cities it was easy to figure that a bike was the only way to get anywhere without major traffic delays. the traffic gets so tight they can just ride on thru. but people do seem to be more aware of them, i think only because they are used to bikes passing thru. Whan I was driving it was wierd having them buzz by but after a few you just start looking down the center before you change lanes.

in houston people WILL pull their cars over in the way purposely, these people actually get because they chose a car and the guy who chose a bike would get to keep going!?? no way in can we have that!

Brazil is much worse on lane splitting, and it is not legal there.
