I had several GSXR750s in the early 90s. Got out for about 5 years, then bought my 7R in '97 and absolutely loved it. It didn't have the most power, but it fit me well. Still have it...

I started buying a couple of GSXR's again, and wound up with an '07 GSXR 1000 and really seemed to like it. It had the power, but it wasn't really mine. So I bought a few more. I had only one left in Jan when I returned to work, and was set that I was done buying bikes for a while. I have probably been through 10 more GSXR1000's in the last 8 months. They just follow me home. And they are SOOOO easy to work on.

That is my story...

I came home from offshore one time and the gil I was seeing decided she wasnt seeing me anymore. I kinda liked her and it bummed me out a little bit so I went and Bought a spankin new 08 GSXR 600. Best riding buddy had a bad accdent resulting in the loss of his right foot. My bike sat up in my room for months after that. Earlier this year I decided to go looking for dirt bikes. Found a left over 09 KTM 450 XC-F sitting up at tejas. They really wanted used sport bikes and made me an offer I couldnt refuse. So now I have the KTM and my DRZ sitting at the house. Im a dirty kid now. MIGHT look into some 17's for the DRZ though....

because having the same style bike for 20 years has familiarity to it. Do i want to upgrade? sure do, but everytime i get the money..I end up purchising more of what I allready own, and turn it to a specific "duty" bike.

I have an addictive personality.

And another one followed me home on Thurs.

What is up with guys buying new bikes, not carrying comp/collision, wrecking them, then pushing them to the back of the garage for some time? Eventually they figure outr that they do not have the time nor talent to fix it properly and wind up deciding to sell. Then I get a call...

I expect my wife to figure this out sooner or later.

After a few 600's I decided I was hooked on drag racing and the 600 was not going to cut it. I had made a deal over the phone on an 08 Busa with a few thousand miles on it. I had already asked for the vin to get insurance and a P.O. so my bank could do the paper work. When I got there the azzhole salesman was doing paperwork to sell it to another guy. I asked the guy how much he paid. He had paid 500 more than my deal. I let him know it too. The salesman me off so I bought a new one from another guy.

Haven't ridden in years and was missing it bad. Looked for a gsxr1000 or something to the like (so what you think it's a squid bike. Didn't like how the R1 sat. Made my legs go to sleep) Well found the busa for just pennies more and it was a year newer and I could actually talk to the owner to find out what happened to it (it was previously laid down. So was the gsxr1k I looked at). Drove it.. Loved her. and here we are today.

I agree with you, just ribbing. I won't lie, I was LMAO at the ones I saw. Best part is my wife was the one that pointed them out. I felt sorry for the bike.
