New to TX

Hey everyone, my name is Mike. I'm new to Texas but definitely not new to bikes. I've been riding motorcycles for the last 15 or so years. Just moved to Kingwood from the Atlanta area. I have a 2006 SV650s for the moment. I've heard that track riding is pretty big in Texas so I'm interested in getting started on that. I've lurked the forum for a little while but this is my first post, looks like a fun place with lots of information. See ya'll on the streets.

-Mike

Macon, about an hour and a half from the city. You have family out that way?

Thanks for all the welcomes. So a couple questions. What do you think of an 06 sv650s as a beginner track bike, and where do I start for trackday info as I'm sure there is a LOT to learn before getting out there?
