She got a trike did some research only one place in TX does trike msf in lufkin. Just trying to find her somthin closer to home.

Under current Texas law, she is required to take a BRC to get a motorcycle license to ride a trike.

If she is physically unable to ride a 2-wheeled motorcycle for the BRC, she will have to take a trike class (below), send that certificate along with a letter stating why she cannot take a BRC to DPS-Motorcycle Safety Unit and they will make a determination on whether they'll issue a certificate for a license or not.

Here's a list of Trike classes in Texas. Steel Steed (713-680-0030) is located in Houston. (Please note that is NOT a recommendation for Steel Steed - just giving you a local class)

Only other option would be to do a search for Gold Wing Road Riders Associations. I know some of them do trike classes.

Hope that helps.

I know the original post is years old... but can't you use a scooter at the MSF? That would get over the weight/height issues of the bikes. I thought Awesome had scooters, you just had to notify them ahead of time. Maybe I'm wrong.

Not wrong. We still have scooters available, or you can bring your own.
