Once (just last week) I told they guy I just liked the style, and after a few seconds, he said, "No, you're lying. You ride. I know you're lying." Very seriously.
That guy was at our motel in Kerrville this weekend. Nothing like wanting to sit outside the room, drink heavily and lie/bench race and then having 'that guy' show up and leave everyone with face palms ad nauseum. Funny how we are so polite as to not be overwhelmingly obnoxious immediately so that he is forced to leave. Which of course only makes things worse. So we just started drinking much more heavily and let our obnoxious sides prevail....naturally.

A "few years ago" you were still playing with cars...

i work with that guy. he has told this stor 2 times in the last month
"i was riding my honda wide glide to galveston, going about 80 mph right before the cosway a car cut me off and i went into the grass i had control, until i hit some gravel, the bike went sideways and i layed down but i managed to get on the top and ride the slide, without a sratch on me. i picked the bike up and rode it to the beach and home with no problems." i have heard that story twice with a honda first and then a harley. cant make up his mind what kinda bike he had. and this guy has a picture of every car he has owned but not a single picture of any bikes he has supposedly owned.
when i wrecked i ws telling them at work what happened thats when "that guy" innurrupted me to tell his story the second time phucking clown.

Lol! Agreed. Being a female in gear on campus makes you a magnet for "that guy", no doubt.
Unless they happen to actually be a fellow rider (its pretty easy to sort them out from the bullshitters), I tell them that my boyfriend and I two-upped it to class that day. Makes a gal instantly less attractive and much less interesting.

I was probably "that guy" I kept it to "what bike is that" "how do you like it?" "perhaps one day, I will get one"

I never bothered people if it looked like they didnt want to be bothered. I was just generally curious.

I got off my bike about an hour ago and got into the elevator. I'm wearing my Teknic Violator leather jacket, unzipped with a hoodie (not MH), and my hair was still in braids when a boy got into the elevator at the third floor. He looked me up and down, and asked, "So, do you race dirtbikes?"

I said, "No, I don't race dirtbikes."

So, he said, "Oh, you just have the jacket?"

Then I got off the elevator.
