Haha... that's what I'm gonna say, "Yeah I had a green Yamaha CBR 750. Those were rare!"

OMG! Tell that guy thanks for a good laugh.. reading this thread has cheered up my day!!!!

Reminds me on a busa board, a member was at a gas station filling up and another guy came to him and was talking about how he use to own a buss. And it was ultra rare because it had a chrome extended swing arm stock from the factory and a 300 tire. And he bought it brand new like that. Gotta love that guy. I bet he use to own a motorized unicycle that would out run everything at 310 mph still sitting in his closet waiting to be ridden too.

Ever had a dirt bike in truck at gas station or store. Guy comes up and says - I used to race mx. I had the first Bultaco Elsinore in Texas. That usually can be translated as: my cousin's neighbor had a dirt bike and he let me ride it in a field

Nah, that guys does not bother me. Its the one that tells me that he has a restored muscle car of x brand and that its the rare one that had it never had. Whats worse is that hes willing to sell it for low money until you get serious about buying it then all of a sudden the excuses come out. Those are the ones I have no time for. Oh, and those guys that buy GXRS then extend the swing arm and then put truck tires on the back. In other words its good for nothing other then going in a straight line, if that.

i'll never forget my run in with "that guy"
he was more "that guy" than any other i've met.
the weather was just at freezing, it was pitch dark outside, and i was caught riding home from my 12 hour shift in some crazy thick rain. i at least had my brand new at the time weather jacket on, but i had my mesh gloves. bleh.
i called my wife to come to my rescue, after having stopped at a kroger. i was completely soaked by this point, and couldnt see much. i ultimately decided to ride the bike home. i didnt want to leave it. i was following my wife's tail lights home.
we had to stop in at sonic for a break and some supper.
along comes "THAT GUY" godammit.
i'm standing outside the car, trying to wring out some of the freezing water from my clothes and really just having the worst ride of all time. sonic employee "that guy" comes up to me, asks if the bike, parked like 10 feet from me is mine, i confirm, and his jaw started moving in a strange way. my wife talks a lot, but she has never just gone into a strange ramble like this "that guy". it was like the jaw was on a hinge at the bottom, and it was just flapping like a ventriloquist dummy's. 'yeah, i got me a arrrr wun. i got me ah arrr seee fiddy wun. yeah i got me uh (blah blah blah)'
i was standing there in shock, looking at "that guy" like he was at my grandma's funeral, telling dirty jokes. i just couldnt believe he could stand there and have this 1 sided conversation at me while i was in an obvious state of having other to deal with.
i dont remember if anything happened, or i said anything. it was really the worst ride of my life, but "that guy" at least came along to make a colossal of himself for me.

Indians were cool bikes up til they stopped making them in the early 2000's I think. Had a big Indian dealer next to the shop I got my dirt parts at in NJ.

THAT guy is all over the place. He thinks that's the way it works for anything with a speedo too.
