The Forest hasn't been a place to be at least past year or so.
They don't want you be there.
If you wanna be there, you gotta go by their rules.
Means "Speed Limit".

Think about it.
(this is not gonna be the greatest example)
You have this beautiful front yard.
There are these dogs and dog owners come by and often they leave their all over your yard.
It happens once and twice.
After a while, you get tired of taking care of somebody else's .
So eventually, you gonna freak out when you see a dog squadding down on your yard.

I heard from a sheriff saying "We are really sick and tired of scrubbing dead bodies off of this road (same thing from The Racers') almost every week. That's why we are really trying to slow you guys down.".

Don't blame them for doing their job.
Blame people who took advantage of the road and the locals.

You wanna go fast?
Take it to the track.
You don't have money?
Work at the corner and earn a day.
There's no freakin excuse for anything.

You are the one who's not reading correctly.

One, I was talking about the other side of prospective.
Two, I was talking about how a lot of people ride on the street.
Three, I was talking about what kind of attitude they have towards consequences of their action (ie speeding).

If you felt like I was talking about YOU.
That's all your own subconscious.

I was out there around 1:30 with the wife in the cage.......not a cop in sight even when a young lady on a cruiser went down right before the "Welcome to Montgomery" sign. She was a little shaken..........but otherwise seemed to be fine. She said she was trying to catch-up with her friends.......and just ran off the road. I was the one that got hurt..........trying to pull that BEAST back to the road............oh my aching back

I ran the forest twice yesterday, kept it below 80 most of the time, didn't see anyone but then again my first trip up was at 6:45 a.m., and my second trip was at 9:30 to meet John for breakfast.
Kris, sorry you got a ticket, you possibly may have been clocked by the guy you passed the first time. I agree they shouldn't be disrespectful, but I can only imagine how most of their encounters are.

True about them clocking you before...like Patrick said.
They will set up a guy that clocks and another to make the stop. Which is why you may have gotten a ticket at a higher speed.

There is a perfect video of this type of action done on Deals Gap.

So whats wrong with going "slow" and taking in the sights. You dont need to ride a cruiser to do that. Just some maturity and responsibility. I bought a sportbike to ride to ride fast and the only "sane" place I have found to do that is on the track. It beats throwing that money into the toiletbowl they call the courts for a speeding ticket. Nutmeg was right when she said work a corner and then ride the next day.
