M/U Free Basic Bike Maintenance Workshop, Sat. 9/25!!

As promised! It's that time again!

I've been involved with MH ever since it's inception, when Chris invited me over to post and help with tech questions etc.

I would like to take it a step further.

We see bikes daily at the shop that are in desperate need of basic maintenance.
Minor things that can easily be done by their owners but aren't, and then do turn into something major.

Most of the time it's because the owner isn't aware of what it is or how to do it.

So here's what I'm going to do;

Once a month at 9:30 a.m., we will be having a free Basic Bike Maintenance Workshop.

I will choose one participants bike, we will put it on a lift and go over all of the basic maintenance items that need to be done, and how to do them.

At the same time we will answer any basic maintenance questions you may have.

Because I would like everyone attending to be able to see everything, I'm limiting the workshop to 10-14 attendees each time.

The next one will be Saturday September 25th, at 9:30 a.m..

If the weather is too bad to ride, no worries, I'll put one of my bikes up.

Hope to see you all there!

Please post up on this thread if you're planning to attending.

Patrick,

It is fantastic that you are doing these again. You might post up list of the things you will be covering, as it would help both with expectations of participants, and let those who are on the fence know what types of things...

Some of the things covered last time I was there were lining and adjusting chain, check brake pads, checking engine oil, and a couple other do's and don't. It's a class worth going to anyways cuz he might cover some things you don't know how to do
