I would usually run about 30 miles after the light comes on.

as soon i can... i dont wanna stretch it out too long. 1 from bottom of tank can get sucked up and go into the filter. one or twice wont effect anything but do it a couple hundred times it will clogg it up. 2 sometimes it can be inaccurate. say u have a bad connection one time and u run outta gas... 3. use the trip meter. usually for me its about 100 +-10 miles before the light turns on.

id rather not find out the hard way how much i can stretch it out...

ifyou READ you manual, youll see that on any GSXR. once the gas light STARTS BLINKING you only have 1.5 gallons left in the tank.

Once the gas light stays on you only have 0.5 gallons left..

bikes get about 45 miles to the gallon. (if you ride like a grandma)

hope this helps you.

not all of the gsxr's are like that. the newer ones, yes. older ones, no.

on my k7 1k, im getting about 100+-10 before the light comes on. after the light comes on, i usually keep the reserve trip meter below 20 miles.
