I recommend just getting a midpipe. After doing my research this was a good way to increase HP and get an awesome sound, even with stock exhaust. Alot of people get the TTuner (TTuner.com $145) but after looking deeper into it MJS was apparently much better quality (MJSperformance.com $175)

I haven't read any bad reviews. Really, only good ones bc they provide a way to get a full system race exhaust with great quality for half the price. Lots of ppl on r6 forum said they'd never go back after using there race headers. And I searched ALOT to see protential problems that I'd run into. I just ordered a GYTR slip on and midpipe from there. If you wanna wait until Friday when it gets to my house and installed, I can tell ya what I think! Even though I think I'm gonna LOVE it haha

Sorry but they all sound like angry sewing machines to me anyways so why not just modify the exhaust. (duck and run, duck and run)

Oh do not hold it against me. I think them Daewoos and Suzuki Swifts came with 3 cylinders too. I think a few are still around if you need to comparison shop for an exhaust. LOL

+1, If you have the cash, I'd say do this!!

Nicely done with the 600rr man! I always go with Aluminum though because 7/10 shops said that after 2/3 years, carbon fiber slip ons begin to tear and burn off and such...and I just didnt wanna waste money on the risk of finding out. Because like the OP, I too, am low on teh moniez lol
