sugarland court and the traffic ticket master

Have a problem. Got a ticket in may for going 15 over the limit which was 50. This was on hway90. I was on my cbr. I've never gotten a ticket before. I hired scott markowitz as my lawyer. I paid him 1775. Now, I did that cuz my friends had good things to say about him. I'm at the court and all he dfoes is gets this offer of probation for 6 months whichll cost me another 300. What's the point of hiring a lawyer for that? I couldve negotiated with the prosecutor myself. I feel bad about this as I'm tight on my cash supply right now and I'm havingg to pay so much. Any thoughts about the lawyer?

We have a lawyer who is a sponsor....

I PM'ed him about the exact same ticket a couple weeks ago.

My cheapest option since I am not worried about points is to pay it.

My is in F-wood and DD with the fee's would be almost the fine
not including the 8 hours out of my life....

Sorry you got bad advice....

Whackem FTW!

Huh?

Try to negotiate with the lawyer and ask him for a discount maybe. Also why the heck he charge you so much for it ? Or did he just try to make the money out of you when he should examine the case first before giving out that big a$$ bill for that speeding ticket. Sorry, not trying to bad mouth about that lawyer.

you cant even go 1/4 of a mile over because you get a ticket, i mean it

that city is starving and they need the money

i was pulled over years ago and i got a ticket for no insurance on my car

mind was expired less than a day. i went to court and saw many ppl with tickets for half mile over, even 1.4 mile over

the judge was an with everyone, hwy 90 really sucks
