Is your dad alright physically, thats all that matters. But secondly how is the bike? I have an old Jeep, if you need someone to hit and run his truck at 3am I can make that happen.

Cops and insurance aint gonna do unless your dad or witness can pick the driver out of a lineup. Ask me how I know

If you need help with other means of justice let me know.... i got some pent up rage against hit and run drivers. I wish I woulda took care of my own bussiness when I got hit instead of letting the law pretend to take care of it.

glad your pops is ok.

have to give a +1, on the cops not doing anything with a found vehicle. (for good reason. who you THINK is the driver, not always is)

years ago I was in a hit and run on Gessner. A Momma Ninfas van pulled out in front of me (it was doing a U-turn, BUT another vehicle was blocking his vision, and my vision..we didnt see each other) so I actually T-BONED him. technically it wasnt his fault, or my fault...it was the other vehicles fault for doing an improper U-turn. (large commercial van with no windows)

but the CHILD driving the Mamma Ninfas van didnt want to get caught, (in the van)so he ran. (daddy worked for the restaurant, but let son drive it often :/ )

got the license plate, but cops didnt do squat, when they got the van. The son eventually fessed up (out of court.) me off. nothing happened to the dad, or the son. :/

Hey glad your dad is doing good!!
Some of this comments are funny but really glad that it wasn't worse.

Now for real..... that guy's truck, then beat his up, think About it.....what about if he hit your dad and it was worse and left him on the streets by him self with no help???
I'll say kidnap his and then trow his on the streets naked and paint all over him "don't hit and run" I'm sure he'll stop next time.

glad danny is alright. I gotta say if I knew where the guy lived I woulda probably had to lay a country whippin on that boy. tell him to cough up the damages to the bike or you can get the law involved. Thats just going off the presumption he would want to keep them out of it given his past.

A guy hit my car and took off on me.I got the plates and went home before I called the cops.Posted his plates on another site and they got me the info.

THEN i went to the address, sure enough car was there.Thats when I called the cops do a report.Told them I followed the car there without them noticing.Since they did flee the scene the cop arrested the guy right there on the spot.

I sure am glad Danny is OK. As soon as I read the thread title, my heart skipped a beat. Do you know if Danny plans to be back on the road in the near future? I always look forward to riding the back roads in the fall with him.
