Dannyboy hit and run.

So today around 7pm my dad was riding his bike around circle drive at willowbrook mall headed home. Long story short the guy in the truck pulled in front of my dad and my dad hit him and went down.

The guy pulled away and kinda stopped then took off. A witness stopped and asked if my dad was ok and he sent the witness to grab the license plate.

He got it and I looked it up and found his house. I just drove by and the truck was there on and running with no one in it. I hopped out all ninja like and snapped a picture before the guy came back outside lol.

My question is what happens from here? Cops go and arrest him or what? What can we do?

Shoot out the tires on his truck. Then do it again when he gets new tires. Or maybe MH cruise to his house? 50ish of us outside his house?

Would be cool to follow him to the store or something, wait til he comes out and nail the hard enough to make him feel it next year. Kinda stop and take off, being that he is a believer in the hit and run, he surely will not call the cops.

Just kidding, let the cops handle it.

^^ or his sister and then post the video all over the internet... haha

How much damage was done? Was it done in the parking lot or on a street? YOU may have to take it to court because if there isn't I think $5500 worth of damage, they SORRY POLICE DEPARTMENT will not pursue it. Happened to me. But the bricks where happy to give me a ticket to which the like of a DA is still.....grrr.. yes, sorry coppers, but no matter how cooperative I am with you guys.. the more I hate ya.. (And they wonder why I won't join the force and everyone keeps asking)... Sorry for the rant.. Be proactive to find out out if you need to pursue your own case or not.

+1... I was in a hit and run 4yrs ago when I first moved here and his plates fell off the front of his car and my car was totaled. Cops came, gave them the plates and they never did about it. Had to file it on my insurance. I thought a hit and run is a felony, but they don't act like it here.

Well I did a little more digging. The guy has a criminal history that includes driving without a license, terroristic threat, theft by check, failure to ID with fugitive intent. Sonde like a great guy.
