Question on charging system.

I have a 2001 Honda CBR-929 & my battery wont hold a charge for very long, maybe 2 days tops. I know my battery is shot I need to go see Patrick but I dont have the $$$ for a new battery. My question is if i keep a charge on the battery i have, will it mess up my charging system at all? Any information will be appreciated.

Shouldn't damage your charging system. Hondas are notorious for bad R/R are you sure it is the battery? Take it to Motorcycles Unlimited and let them load test it. That or if you are close to Humble I have a load tester. I know my 900rr ended up just being bad wiring.
