FOUND AN SV MAYBE STOLEN!?!?!?!

Was working today when I arrived at an Apartment and saw a guy breakin the steering column on a bike with huge screw drivers and hammers, his car was parked next to the bike with the doors open and he was just talkin on the phone. Not enough evidence to cause an altercation but did write down bikes and his cars plates (And took picture when he was not looking) just in case he was stealin it or he just F'd up his bikes steering or something. Its a copper/Orange SV. I have more info if it is for sure stolen!

Ok first off the cops dont even come out in a hurry to a real stolen bike from your house. You think they would come out for a Maybe someone stealin a bike thats in the guys parking spot in front of his Apartment. Dont think so, it sounds all good when you type it on the internet but in reality I would have waited around for hours looking more suspicious to the guy (Could cause an altercation deadly or not) and then loose important job deliveries that would cost me hundreds of dollars and possibly my job, for what? A maybe or maybe not?!?!?!? Sorry, but not me

Actually there's a difference between "theft already occurred" and "theft in progress"....if they get there quick enough they're gonna have a chance to make an arrest. Should have just called and saved future stress for someone who could possibly have their bike stolen.

No, I think like everyone else, he's trying say that the information you have could have been put to better use than it has. I know you'd rather have someone have information to prevent your bike from being stolen, then have the information to try to recover it.
