Yeah like so far nothing seems hard to do on a bike .so far ...a lot easier than a car that's for sure .no covers or hard to reach places .I took off the tank the air filter and inspected the spark plugs in less than an hour .that reminds me I need a fuel filter .

Btw "noob" if anyone says its hard to learn on a 600 its not true I learned how to street ride on it in 35 minutes .I think as long as you know how to drive standard and don't try anything stupid you should learn easily

I just recently learned to shift manually and that was when I took the motorcycle classes haha. Learned on 250s though.
A lot of riders suggested I start off with a 600. With your feed back... that's one more check next to the 600s haha. I'm still not sure which 600 to get though. Suzuki, Kawasaki, Honda, Yamaha... guess the one I can get a good deal from of course. I may explore the "Sale forums" here but I don't know if I want a used bike for my first one. Just have to wait and see what happens.

Which 600 did you ride?

Alright I'll keep that in mind. Could you hook me up with a good deal when I'm ready to get one? Please? haha

I had a great teacher and I couldn't ask for a better one. Had a better sense of humor than my Senior year English teacher! Plus being a part of Motohouston... everyone here is basically a teacher and student. I've learned a lot already from a majority of the riders here, and I guarantee that at least one person will have an answer for any question.

I have been pretty lucky to find good deals on my last 3 bikes I got my 250 for $1300 (would have been a better deal if I knew how to fix the small stuff wrong with it). I got my zx6r for $1500 (learned how to work on bikes from this) and my 636 was a steal for the amount of miles it had you just have to be patient do your homework and know when to pull the trigger.
