He nailed the take-off, but when he landed, something terrible happened. His front tire exploded like a cannonball, and his handle bars went straight through his head. Blood was everywhere. His teeth were ground down to a powder, and the front of his face exploded out the back of his skull. He died instantly... the next day.

I have not been, but I was informed about this from some buddies in Houston who are going, & once I moved to Austin & met some riding buddies, the 1st thing they asked was if I was gonna go to the harvest classic. It's must be pretty badass.

it's a fun time, wish I wasn't working and I'd be on my way to Austin right now. got some friends going that you'll recognize from the events around here. I agree, ditch the seat, the cowl doesn't flow with the lines of the tank, and makes it look thrown together

Harvest Classic: Wish I had gone this year; it's a lot of fun getting to gawk over a lot of bikes you otherwise might not see. It's in the middle of nowhere, but good riding.

Love your project bike, btw.

Sadly the black beast is up for sale. Honestly I'm too tall for something this low & slung back. I'm better suited to the motards/dual sports.

She's been a great ride though.
