Morning from a dormant rider

Heya, happy Labor Day...

Been reading the forum for a few years, but by the time I made it here, my riding time was already on the wane. Posting because I logged in to check what SV650sssesss (that's how you designate the plural, yeah?), and I got this nice note about my never having posted before. Anyway, I am just now admitting that I need to find the SV a rescuer, or in other words, sell the sad little beast.

(Will be dusting it off to take pics and checking the battery so I can post a complete listing ASAP.)

This bike even got my husband riding (I bought him his MSF lessons while we were still dating...how's that for devotion?)

Anyway, I'll be glad to keep a finger on what's going on with the folks having the real fun while I cage around with carseats for a toddler and an infant due in late January. Can't wait for when they're old enough to put on 2 wheels!

TIA for your sympathy and all. :p Late thanks for all the good info and anecdotes y'all have been posting.

Welcome!
Even if you don't currently ride you are welcome to jump in with your 2 cents worth... everybody else does!

Know what's worse than carseats, Pampers and Thomas the Train?

Watching your child get in the car and drive away to college in another city :(
I expect to be crushing my emotions down deep inside in about 10 minutes when my daughter heads back to UT.

Yeah. We're trying to enjoy every minute. Mostly, we do. There are definitely some less enjoyable minutes. We have close friends with children who are also growing up all too fast.

Look forward to hanging out here with you all. Belated thanks for the warm welcome.
