Pray and help him get back on the road soon

Hey everyone... umm... my dad would probably kill me for doing this but... I felt like I have to. He just gave me a call... and... he's in the hospital. He laid his bike down on the freeway and something about a curve. But... I'd really appreciate prayers or some way of support for him. He's helmet saved his life today... if it hadn't been for that helmet... I could have lost my dad today.

Please give him support any way y'all can. Y'all know him as "caveman6912."

I love you very much dad,
your son Jake/Noob781

My prayers for his recovery and your strength. If it were my dad, I'd go kick him and say "What where you thinking.. Get back on that bike.. let's go riding".. Because he'd do the same for me. I can only imagine what you're going through. Don't even want to really imagine it. Really sorry to hear. Tell pops though that he's a shining example having the helmet on. haha. And then give him a big hug.

Hey Guys,
It's me caveman. Out of the hospital. Major reality check in life. Thank you all for the prayers and well wishes. Scraped up, bruised and ego knocked down a few notches. I walked away. Bike appears to be in good shape. Get it fixed up and in time try again.
I made a mistake and I know it. Happened so fast, I guess my newness got the best of me today. I will say the engine guard saved more damage being done to me and the bike. Helmet definitely did its job. It got scraped up. Better that than my head.
Going to say a few prayers.
Final note: Got a link from a friend that a rider died Saturday night on I-10. Well wishes and prayers for his family please.
Ride safe all.
Thank you all.
Caveman
p.s. Sorry such a long entry, just had to get some of it out, and this was the best way.

Glad you're ok.. And no it wasn't too long of a post.. get it all out.. Tell us all about it if you need to put it out.. Or just know that there's a bunch of riders that are happy you made it just fine. Always good to hear a good ending.. Especially coming from the person that was involved. Unfortunately downing a bike is part of the game.
