GSS - Why do I like CW so much better?

Good day at GSS today, but my first time running it CCW. I never felt like I could get in the flow, and kept second-guessing my corner-entry speeds. I was in pain most of the day trying to achieve/hold good BP. Then at the end of the day we had an open session CW, and I felt like I was home (even though I've only ridden the track twice this year, and once a few years ago).

Is my experience just because I had ridden it CW before, or does the track have that a much better flow CW?

Hey Tony try Cyberlink PowerDirector. The line is crucial going CCW and it is very fun once you have a decent one. It took me all of the morning to figure it out. First lunch session I got to rocking n rolling but the right side of my tire was toasted and I had some major sliding on certain turns, everytime. i just decided to pack up and try again another day.

I hate it CW and will only ride it CCW. Mine is because CW is just to many right handers and it puts to much of a strain on my right shoulder. I have always loved GSS since we first started riding it 3 years ago, it is one of my favorite tracks.

I like it riding the track both directions, must say that CCW is a little more challenging, and I really prefer it since I have had time to get use to it. The biggest part about CCW is you can carry LOTS more speed coming into your turns then you start out thinking. Once you get use to it you'll find CCW is a GREAT way to work on your trail braking!

I love CW too.

How do you go "slow out" if we are taught to roll the throttle mid turn?

on another note:

I was cornerworking at turn 2. My first time cornerworking and first time on the track the entire day. I thought I would be bored and needed my ipod, but the sweet sound of high rpms did it for me

Hopefully next time im there, ill be on leathers.

Great time yesterday. Lightweight class was really cool as there were no clowns on litre bikes pinning it on the straights and parking it in the corners. Intermediate looked especially quick too.

I've been at GSS 6 or 7 times and have never run it CW. It seems I should have stayed for the last session.
