those 500cc buell blast's were the epitome of entry-level. Don't know much about them, but I test rode one for kicks. short bike, BIG vibrations from the motor; it is a one-cylinder thumper afterall... Not much else to say about it. it was designed for new riders that didnt want performance or an expensive bike to begin with. good mpg and low maintenance were advertised. I do know in 2009, Buell stopped making them entirely.

My wifes first bike is an 04 xb12r. at first i didnt like it, but its a pretty clean, well handling machine. eric buell made a quality product.

I love the idea of a motorcycle guy making an ugly bike with a motor sourced from harley and that blows many other bikes out of the water.

Something about it makes me laugh.

I thought buells motors were rotec motors. Rotec is not part of Harley that u know of bothered than buying motors from them. I looked at 1125 before I bought Kawi. Nice bikes handle good just wheelied like crazy..

I am sure you mean ROTAX motor. only the 1125 has the ROTAX motor, all others use a beefy version of a sportster motor. that would be harley made engine

Thanks witch doctor for clairifcation. When I looked at them all I looked at was the 1125. So I didn't know much about that company. Just knew they were made in USA.
