What makes the ride work is the fact that people are willing to ride together instead of trying to keep up w the pace of one leader.

Thats what the Forest Gnomes are about; adjusting to the riders that come. One person missing shouldnt make a difference. You guys will have a fine ride. I just have more experience leading rides then some; that experience comes w, well... leading rides.

You guys are in good hands.

Was fun, I didn't go the whole way, most of it though, had to turn back for a prior engagement, I am most probably going to switch to the 003's very shortly, the 016 felt a little sloppy for some reason( yes my tire pressure was right on)just lost a whole bunch of confidence after the first few turns and same feel, this sucks cause there practically brand new.... Hopefully I can work something out so I don't loose much.

Hello

Yeah, you should do this again Cali. I like to ride in a group too, but too dangerous. I rode once with a group and crashed on that time. Guess I chose wrong group to ride with

Like I mentioned we do it weekly, just not always public like last year.

First and most amazing was Cdill's video for CoachDave's Memorial ride:
http://www.livevideo.com/video/CF6EC...rial-ride.aspx

C.Dave's last Forest Ride I documented:

What did the group do to cause you to crash?
Did they make anyone else crash?

One of the riders couldn't make it thru a sharp corner. He slid and I was behind him. Good thing there was no traffic at that time.

Ride w us more often; once you see how the Forest Gnomes operate and even become one yourself you'll appreciate it.

Safety is always a first concern as well as respect for the group. Distances are kept, egos are checked. Makes for a cleaner ride.

how does one become a forest gnome? Is there a sweet ritual?
of the places I've been this is my favorite. I plan on exploring that whole area in the near future

I was wondering why I didn't see the Busa. I meet the group mid way through 3090. I did my pass and headed back to Yankees to meet up with them. Cops were thick.

This was my first group ride and I can tell everyone I had a blast. I may not remember everyone's name but I thank those in the back of the group for checking on the noobs. Thanks to Thomas, Mike and the guy in the yellow CBR (sorry I don't remember everyone's name) and Fernando for leading me on the way back. I am down for doing this ride again anytime.

Noobs should be good as long as you keep your own pace and stay within your riding limits. My two cents, is if you are new don't try to keep up with the leaders especially if you don't know the roads (3090). It will come with time.

To everyone have a nice rest of the weekend and ride safe.

No problem dude. Did you scrub the 016's in? When I got mine installed, the shop owner told me to hit up the new parking lot at Krogers and do some serious figure 8's to scrub them in. I've only had one issue and that was in a corner and I hit a slick patch that caused the front to slip a bit and me to pucker.....

I got something cooking for a ride coming up I'll keep you in the loop if interested.

Yeah deffinitly let me know, I put a couple hundred on them, I'll try a figure eight, but I've never had a issue before with them but I also haven't pushed them as hard as I wanted to today and the weight of the Busa.... Idk, I loved them on my old gsxr 750, idk
