I'll be there. No woman around to stop me from riding and no family at the house waiting for me to come home.

In fear of repeating the words coach spoke to me the bluebonnet ride, I will say it anyways. Matt, Sunday for me is just about enjoying the day.

what size is he? I'm sure someone can bring an extra jacket for him... this isn't a route to be running without full gear.

on the Forest Gnome rides we've had about 90 publically posted rides and about 60 wrecks.

The people wrecking are always in the third group. First group riders have never had an issue, third group had only 2 run offs and rode back on the road.

For a jacket, shop around or borrow on.

For gloves, get some from Cycle gear for 20-40 or go to walmart and grab some 10 dollar somethings.

If you ride w the mentality "it wont be me" then you're the one most likely at risk. Ignorance is bliss until reality kicks in... hard.

Its for your own protection.

It doesnt effect your own ride but also the rest of us. I've probably spent half the time of entire riding time on all those rides sitting on the side of the road awaiting a truck, flatbed, paramedic, lifeflight and worse.
