Rain + Bike = Help!!!

ok so im at school, and what sucks is im here for like 8 hours...i checked the weather and wasnt expecting the rain in my area

so how i get out of class and rain is here...dunno how long, or how heavy...but its been wet outside

my question is, other than the chain and lube.....should i be concern about rust or other damages to my bike.???

im novice when it comes to tech. for bikes.....should i take it to Motorcycles Unlimited tomorrow and do a detail check?...very concern because i love my bike and its my first one

i posted the same topic months ago...but the rain was very very light.....this time its different

The bike will be fine. Anything under the tail may be subject to a little bit of water.

Its a great way to get it clean via mothernature.

Doesent it get wet when U wash it? the bike will be fine, I would be more concerned of going down on a wet road if ur not use to it, just be smooth and dont lean too far, and watch for other drivers sliding into U

you will be fine. is this a troll thread?
if you are really scared for your bike, just clean it off once you get to where you are going.

or, bring it to my house and i will inspect the bike for $200... for reals.

I rode home in the rain. I even passed a line of cars and a bus (ninja style ) on the HOV. Rain won't hurt you.

Yes, you should clean and lube your chain frequently, but a little rain isn't quite the drama you're making it out to be.

bike is going to rust the out of........... LOL just JKing. its all good man, when you get home just dry it and check any bolts so that there is no water standing.

I've been stuck in the middle of the freeway when a big cold front was coming and all i could see was 5 feet in front, just ride safe and watch out.

your first bike is like your first "ride the $hit out of it" do it till you meet the right one! lololol
