Exclamation Pasadena Beware

I came home yesterday around 6pm and my dog was in the back yard..he's not supposed to be out there unless someone's home. So i walk back there to see how he got out and find my back door kicked in! once in the garage it looks like they used a screw driver to pop the lock to the inside door, and I'm assuming Ace scared them off. They did manage to take off with a spare helmet which was just inside the garage (shouldn't have been there). Grabbing the helmet makes me think maybe they were there for the bike.

Regardless, I owe everything in my house to that dog, and have learned a good lesson about what people will do to take what little luxury you have. I may be parking the bike in the living room now lol

another reason to have reinforced lock strikes and double cylinder deadbolts on all of your doors, kind of a shameless plug but not realy. If anyone wants to beef up their security pm me.

Sucks man but i see it everyday......

Where in Pasadena?

It's a little close to home, and there's a story to go along with it.

There's a kid bout 17-20 years old going around knockin on doors asking people if they need theri lawn mowed. If no one answers he jumps the fence and tries to get in.

I have caught him in my neighborhood and questioned him, I may or may not have somehting o the affect of stay away from my place or I'm going to you up, I have not seen him in a while, then all of a sudden he pops back up around the neighborhood.

Come to find out the little got nailed for burglary and has been locked up for the last 60 days.

I don't think this kid would go that far, good luck on finding out who the is, I hope he comes back and you blow one of his hands off with that shot gun.

an easy way to secute the back door is a 2x4 with a V notch cut on one end, and the board cut to a length just longer than the distance from your door to the floor. Jam it under the and kick it tward the door with your foot. Obviously can't do this on all doors, but most perps go in through the back door.

I'm really supurised they went in with dogs present. Do your dogs not bark?
