Just get an inexpensive bike to learn on. It is already nerve wracking learning how to ride and it makes it worse when you are really worried about dropping an expensive bike. Not much fun. Once you get used to riding then go out and buy yourself a nice ride.

My first bike which I drive right now is a yamaha r6 .had no problem learning on it.not sure if its considered a "fast" bike
