I bought it because it had WIndows Mobile.

I've had three Sanyo phones and the reception for them has been fantastic. I think my 2nd choice would be Nokia.
what company was the moto with? moto dosnt make good pda phones, the old razr's the v557 and the L6 are great,

sanyo makes some good phones and sense they are the major brand for sprint you really have to like them.

i sell more moto phones then i do sanyo, and if you line up our phones on the counter the moto's get just as good if not better signal then the rest of them

I have a Sprint mm-7500. Wife has a Sprint Treo' 650. Her parents have Samsung junk. When we were out of town this last weekend, I had full service and was able to make a call - they were not.

As for Moto, 2 were with Sprint, the last 2 with Cingular. MPx 220 wasn't a PDA phone... well, not in the class of the Treo'.

Oh, and I lied... Samsung was the worst I have ever had - both with Sprint and Cingular.

ya the cheap samnsung phones are junk, the A920 is pretty nice and they have some very good GSM phones like the D600

what makes a moto phone so great is the fact that you can mod it out very easily, (unless you have sprint) the 7500 isnt a bad phone i like the 8300 as far as sanyo goes, and you should check out the new "katana" im sure you would like it

now lets all agree that Verizon sucks!

I'm pretty happy with the 7500... I like the fact that it's "ruggedized" - which I need. b

It does everything I need it to plus it keeps the kids entertained with cartoons and stuff.

And don't get me started with Cingular's EDGE/HSDPA. I have to maintain ~30 accounts at work and it's been a thorn in my side.

edge is a pain in the , now they have 3G in houston

its suposed to be the fastest dial up networking you can get from a cell phone company right now, altho i never got a chance to compare it against sprint

i must say though you will never find me with a company that charges you 36 bucks every time you change phones
