Motosploring: Katy to Navasota Sat 09/04

With the death of RR recently, decided to just ride around looking for some new (to me) routes to take this past weekend. We started on I-10 and Fry Rd, took some back roads (and off-roads ), to Katy-Hockley to 290, then up 362 to Navasota. I did a MapQuest of the route and found a couple of other nice looking backroads I wanted to try.

Going back out this saturday just to do some more 'sploring.
I dont have a real solid route, so if anyone is familiar with a good route wants to join let me know.

Weather is now looking great for saturday.
http://www.weather.com/outlook/healt...ekend/USTX0673

Meet time: 8am
KSU: 8:20
Place: Starbucks at Fry and Park Row
http://www.starbucks.com/store/13469
(Between Texas Borders and Kroger)

Bring your gear. Have your up to date.
Not gonna be too noob friendly but we're not gonna be tearing up asphalt either.
Expecting a liesurely sprint, maybe getting lost too.

Again, if anyone can offer some routes, tips, places to eat or avoid, that'd be great.

Kinda hoping to make it back home by the noon-1pm inferno, so Navasota's about the farthest I wanna make it. Anything that's on the way you can toss at me would help...

I was down with this until I figured out that I have no clue what the word "liesurely" means. Please get back to me.

I can already tell you you don't qualify for this ride sir.
Maybe if I give you the route you can show up before and sweep the gravel out of the corners for us.

There wouldn't be so much if you didn't bring it back from your off roading adventures.

Dammit, if you had the GoPro on, that woulda been the hilight of the trip.
Maybe we can trick some noobs into leading next time and film them...

Tentative route:

Weather now down to 10% for Fri/Sat/Sun so it's looking good.

I think that's the road we're trying to avoid!

Those are nice curves though...
