Been riding a while now (20 years) and the closest I've come is rolling on the gas when I came over a hill at near tripple digits and a state trooper passed me going the other way. I saw brake lights but never saw the roof light up - I didn't look back after that. Was out in the country - knew some back roads so I put a few hills between me and him and ducked off the highway. Took it slow and easy back to where I came from.

Now I ride a bright orange "hey look at me" bike in the middle of the city. Things are different here. I got hit with a laser at 78 coming around turn one of the Nasa Bypass by Webster. I pulled over and was off the bike before he even got his car rolling. He said I looked pretty cool leaned over like that and then told me that they would be working that section of road over the next month or two "tell all your friends" he said... Gave me a warning and let me go. They really do appreciate you owning up to your actions and as was said before; many are riders themselves. I know all of the cops in my neighborhood - and many of the surrounding ones too. Everyone knows the bike, so getting away with anything is a mute point. I figure I've only got one good "run" in me - so I'll save it till I'm ready to check out anyway.

It seems that you are the one hurt by the post. His post is a public service announcement for people who think it's cool to run from police on their motorcycles.

Not hurt by any means bro

Was just curious as to bumping/instigating a thread that was going to start/provoke drama. No one can argue that

If you'd been around or maybe read more into it...it might make more sense, but since you obviously hadn't and felt the need to poject your own homosexual inclincations onto my actions scrub.

It's only a couple of 'you' that turned it into a drama.

Didn't take much to find it either, 1 google and the 5th return was all.

The topic and a couple of his aquaintances of prime examples of folx coming here all full of themselves and acting on the street. JP/Slo being a prime example... running into the rear of a car on the freeway/interstate then a months later acting an again. This time the guy riding with him dead, and him thankfully busted/caught by the cops. We can certainly see by the history that he was such a wonderful, stand up contributing member to society from it too...

It's relevance, an update 'new' of information related to the topic.

beyond that, he annoyed me a tad and I had a whim. :-)

Read rule #2.7 of the MH Forum Rules, I'm curious as to why this thread hasn't been deleted by a mod.
Because that rule is applied to start a thread about you yourself running from the police. This thread is purely discussion; not bragging or admitting.

Much the same as the unwritten rule that you shouldn't post your >100mph speeds.

Get bent haters, it doesn't always end in apocalypse.
