No, same as when I'm in my car. I don't slow down until I know he's on me, but then I stop as soon as I can safely. Luckily, I haven't had any encounters on the bike yet. But it will be the same scenario.

I was only "thinking"... if i go on routes with multiple other riders, I dont have to outrun the cops, just outrun the slow pack of riders ^_^

I knew a Hungarian that ran a lot! I think the last time he did he was on a can a tuna doing 120 down I10 east and zipped past a cop and punched it, he made it over a couple of overpasses and tried to exit, locked up the rear tire (accident) layed it down and rode it off the ramp (and road) over the ditch and into the woods. He woke up amongst the trees with a broken ankle and messed up shoulder, bike was TRASHED! He could have died but didn't stop him from driving like a maniac after that He was not caught but I would prefer a ticket vs. my machine getting wiped or going to jail. I'll never run, I have had too many "good" encounters with the law not to respect them.

Everyone that rides "fast" runs, most of them just dont know it. if you frequently travel down 45 late at night, the cop that posts up in the parking lot by fuqua, he radars you, but by the time he is on the freeway (directly under BW8 is next on ramp) you are at FM2351, and you never saw him to begin with, and he never saw you after you went under the BW and out of his site.

I'm sure that happens all over the place, to everyone that rides "fast"

now people that cruise and dont ride "fast", they will have time to see the cop...

now if you are gangster and you are going really fast, and you dont look for cops, you have no mirrors, you have no plate, and you have no lights (not even switched, just NONE)... and you are not worried one bit at all what is behind you.... but lets face it.. you(the person reading this) aren't that G'd up.

5++++ I've seen that guy posted up many times. I work at night in the area and I always see him when I'm making a food run. Furthermore, every now and then a TDPS SUV is also posted up right before Fuqua on the RIGHT side of the freeway. Just a little heads up.

I always see bikers taking off from the shell gas station on westheimer/610, revving their bikes to red line doing easily above 80mph on that short feeder that leads up to the freeway while the police is sitting in the parking lot.

I'm noticing the majority of the post responses are way to Politically Correct, are you going to run for motorcycle safety chief one day? You act like you never speed or consider alternatives to punishment. Please, Give some honest answers to these questions

Lol at the cop that stays at fuqua. I don't think he even gets in his car anymore when my bike passes. He got my car once though and he was an so I don't feel bad

I'm surprised that after a month of membership you haven't realized that MOST of the people who actually POST on this forum are decent, law-abiding citizens and DON'T run. And I read plenty of posts that weren't PC. So you obviously don't read good - there's a school for that and learning to do others things good, too.

I believe its "read well" ... but i could be wrong

and Running from the cops is retarded... Why put yourself in harms way and risk your life, and others lives for a speeding ticket? really? a few hundred bucks to pay the piper for doing something you do EVERYDAY and just so happen to get caught that day.

It's a quote from a movie. I don't need grammar editing...

It's for the Zoolander School for Kids Who Don't Read Good and Want To Learn To Do Other Things Good, Too.

It's a school for people who are ridiculously good looking.

Why do the immature ones always think that by saying you never run that means you never speed? I speed, every morning. I used to speed in my cars all the time. Don't run. The ONE time you get caught by the cop that wants to throw the book at you will cost you more than probably all your tickets combined. Cops expect us to speed. But they also expect us to stop if they light us up.
