Racing Schools

Has anyone been to a racing school on here? Trying to find out which one is the best bang for your buck, quality of instructors, bikes, track, well you get the picture. I'm thinking about doing the suzuki school in atlanta but not sure.

Thanks for the info

Friend of mine went to and highly recommended Keith Code's Superbike School in Cali.

I guess he learned something there - He ran a 1:48 on street tires at MSRH.

I did Ty Howard school and it was great!
I would suggest you to try local schools first (ie Ty Howard and John Haner) before you spend a whole lot more money over others.

+1

Taking a school on a track you are familiar with is great. I dropped 7 seconds with Ty at TWS (Texas World Speedway) in 1 day.

School

I did go to Schwantz's School 2 times and enjoyed it very much. You are taught by current and past AMA racers and Schwantz himself which is very cool. Plus your learning at Road Atlanta which is one of the best tracks out there So IMHO I highly recommend.

It's a great school if you have over 1K to drop it.

All these schools are great schools.
I really doubt there's any BAD riding school.
More and less you'll learn something new.
It's just really matter of how much you want to spend.

You probably want to do some trackdays first.
Most schools are racing schools, so unless you have some sort of track experience, it'll be very overwhelming.

FYI, I did 8 trackdays before Ty Howard racing school.

Depends on how you take the class. It can be $50 extra to your track day price on up to private lessons on a closed track.
