Vance and Hines XR1200 Class

AMA pro has started a class exclusively for HD's XR1200. Maybe im being a bit skeptical but i think AMA pro (DMG) might be giving a bit of special treatment to the beloved American manufacturer. Mind you while this is happening Erik Buell is a couple million lighter and fighting to get Geoff May into the top ten.

ZZzzz Boring, but nothing new. The AMA used to have a Sportster class in the early/mid 90's. Painful to watch, as they were very slow, but the racing itself was pretty decent.

When the AMA used to come to TWS (Texas World Speedway), (yes, they did.. 2x in one year even) there was a pretty big group of harley fans in attendance.. I was seated next to some and as soon as the sportster race ended, one said.. "ok, now we can go" and they left.

Silly as it is, I'd rather see them run an exclusive class than try to run 1200cc buells against 600cc sportbikes

I don't see why DMG wants harley to win something so bad. Are they that hard up for extra income?
