Nope still happening. However people aren't posting in hopes to lure out the thieves.

i'll be honest, i really don't know how/ why so many bikes are stolen...

i'll guess the majority happen over night ( apt. complex, near the street, etc. ) I keep mine inside so now worries.

but are ppl dense enough to not lock the steering? or do thieves have easy ways to break that ? if not, then it must take 3-4 guys to freaking pick the bike up and load it onto some specially made stealing vehicle... u aint shoving that thing up a truck ramp.

i leave my bike in the back parking lot of my school 2-3 times a week, never a problem. just curious

hmmm thx for the comments. that's pretty shitty, my ignorant thought the locks were pretty tough.

and agreed, insurance puts the worries to ease. and if the car/ moto is old enough and not worth insuring, than u aint loosing much when it disappears.

thieves will find a way one way or another... I am moving into an apt soon and I got a garage just for the bike! Even though I have full coverage.
