I'm hauling mine out in my truck, but I have a trailer if it's needed. I'm happy to haul gear out as well.

Depending on how many people plan on riding out there I might ask to get a ride with one of you guys that have a trailer and help out with gas.

a suggested route to New B. lots of fun imho.

This is starting out of sealy. all you do is take I-10 about 50 or so miles west, look for the sealy exit and take that exit. the exit will loop around which will take you to a stop light where you will take a left. and there is a Tonys restauraunt where my group usually meets and eats and gets gas. you will be able to see the Tonys sign from I-10. figure maybe leave pp1 about 9 am get to sealy about 10-1030 give everyone about an hour to greet everyone and eat, get gas and take off.

if you want to get a good idea of what this route is like try to look at an atlas of texas or the like or use yahoo maps or mapquest.

(1)---36 north to 1094 left/west

(2)---1094 to 109 left/west @ (New Ulm)

(3)---109 straight thru to 1291

(4)---1291 to 159 left @ (Fayettville)

(5)---159 to 71 La Grange bypass right/west

(6)---71 bypass to 77 right/north

(7)---77 north to 153 left/west

(8)---153 straight onto 95 @ (Smithville)

(9)---95 south to 535 right/west @ (Smithville)

(10)--535 to 20 left/south (near Red Rock)

(11)--20 south to 812 right/west @ (Red Rock)

(12)--812 to 21 left/west

(13)--21 to Fm 150 right to Kyle

(14)--Fm 150 west thru Kyle to 3237

(15)--3237 to 12 left/south (south of woodcreek)

(16)--12 to 32 right/west

(17)--32 to 3424 left/south

(18)--3424 to 306 left

(19)--306 to 35 into New B

this is only a suggested route but imo its a really cool way to go and i think that whoever decides to go this way theyll hae alot of fun. im open to suggestions and anyones opinions.

For a little more fun on the way to Sealy, take the Brookshire exit (FM359) north, left on 90, then right onto 359 again. It'll cut off to the left towards Pattison on 1458 (commonly known as racer road), then loop back around to 10 in Sealy. Fun road, nice sweepers, watch for LEO after you get near/past the sign for Stephen F Austin State Park.

Depending on where you're coming from, there's more to add. From Sugarland/Stafford, there's backroads up to Brookshire so you never have to hit the freeway.

did they fix 337 from leakey to camp wood?
it was a dirt road in the spring.
We went north from leakey up 336 to 41 left
41 to 337 left to rocksprings.
55 south at rocksprings to 335 left
335 back to 41 right to 336 right. etc
this was u miss the construction between the 2 but still get the 3 sisters
337 between leakey and campwood was a dustbowl last time.
maybe they finished it by now.
later

I am so ready for this....I'm like a kid at a candy store. It would have been better if I found out the day before instead of a month. All the riding I've been doing from now til then just sucks as I know riding the 3 sisters is gonna be hella fun. Do you have a final head count yet?

I will be back in October. Maybe I can make that one. I was also wanting to do the Cherokee Cycle Park thing with the Dirt/Atv guys. No set dates yet. If all goes as planned I would like to get the October ride in as well. Noctem ,You guys have a blast and be safe.
