Haner = Rockstar

Ok.. not quite. just sponsored by them now. Is that stuff any good? I'd like to try it but i've become sensitive to caffeine and my heart would probably 'asplode!

Now thatís something....

A few years ago, I hit all the markets hard looking for sponsors for my endurance team and rockstar was one of the only energy drinks that somewhat jumped on board. They would give me and Tim cases of that stuff, along with some other free swag, so it was more of an advertisement deal, but cool none the less. At the end of the season the lady in Dallas contacts me (at the time they did not have a Houston rep) and tells me that racing and motorsports was not the direction nor the image that Rockstar wanted displayed. The next year I see the logo all over an Indy car and now they are getting back into motorcycle racing... I am glad to see it, but us TMPG and CMRA racers need the love as well, even those of us that suck:laughing6 :laughing6 :laughing6 no one could believe it when I pulled it off but it was great while the ride lasted.

Tell your neighbor that I am willing to put the stickers back on my bike, but they have to be stickers, and not bumper stickers like last time , for a few cases, three t shirts, and some better hats then the trucker ones they gave me last time...... make it some bennies and we could have a deal, I will contact my agent.

Sounds like they were giving you the "it's not you, it's me" breakup routine, J Lo.

Maybe they thought that way previously. Now they probably see what red bull is doing in moto racing and are trying to emulate that on a smaller scale.

it's sad how much money is made because advertising actually works and people will actually buy this drink based on seeing this.

breakups suck and I am sure that it was NOT my fault..:icon_bigg

I have not had one of those drinks since.. I say screw em' they cost to much anyway...

UNLESS they want to give me some more free stuff and then they are OK in my book.

We were trying to get on board with "pimp juice", but I don't think we ever heard brake from them. Our deal with Monster energy drink was sweet while it lasted, lol. I think we got 15 cases?

Cool. I like Rockstar it is a better value over Red Bull but I felt bad since Redbull Sponsors the races but now that Rockstar is behind Haner I won't feel guilty anymore.
